This was on the third night of Evangelist Rambabu’s special meetings in Kalyan, near Bombay. A crowd of around 40000 was in attendance. So many people called upon the name of Jesus for salvation after seeing the proof of Christ’s resurrection through these miracles. Brother Rambabu told me personally that a man in a coma on a stretcher was healed even as they were leaving the ground. It was an awesome time.

I had the joy of attending some gospel meetings in Kalyan, Maharashta, India, not far from Mumbai city (Bombay). A group of about 30 independent pastors of small churches had organized these gospel meetings. Everyone was surprised by the attendance. The three days of meetings grew from perhaps 10,000 to 40,000 people by the end, although the police estimate for the final meeting was as high as 50,000.

The meetings were very lively with music and worship of the Lord Jesus Christ. The evangelist, P.S. Rambabu, announced after he came on that Jesus Christ would do miracles in the crowd. And this is what happened each night. Totally blind people were apparently healed, deaf-mutes, polio victims and many others with serious infirmities testified to being healed by the power of God.

When people saw the proof of the resurrection of Jesus Christ in the form of these miracles, many thousands called upon the name of Jesus for salvation.

Please pray for brother Rambabu as he ministers around the world. Please especially pray for his ministry in India, and for his personal strengthening in the Lord every day.
