SPECIAL PRAYER REQUEST:

Judi Frantina was born on the 9th of September 1996. She was born like any other child in this world and she was the dream child for a her parents who already had 2 sons.
But in a year she developed pneumonia fever and was admitted in the hospital in a very serious condition. But God healed her.
Tragedies had just began to play with this little girl. On one fine evening on the 28th of May 2000, while she was playing with her brothers, she fell down from the first floor of their house. Luckily she fell on the sand and escaped with few fractures, that was what her parents thought. But she had broken her hand and had fractured her nose. From then, if she would eat any fruit or some type of greens she would develop cold and cough. Always she had mucus in her chest.
The parents took her to the hospital as she was never cured of this disease. The doctors said that she had a growth in the nose. So on the 16th of October 2002, in Philomena Hospital, Bangalore, she had a minor operation to remove it. But as a plant that has been trimmed, the disease called contrite chondroma began to grow aggressively within her. It reached the sinus part of the nose and reached the front part of the brain passing through the eyes and the forehead. She developed swelling in her eyes. The eyes doctor they took her to, took a CT Scan and revealed her condition to the parents. The parents did not know how this dreadful disease got into their beloved daughter. They were shocked and couldn't believe the truth. The doctor said that the flesh growth should be removed by operation, otherwise the child will loose her eye sight first and will go into coma and will eventually lose her life.
The parents took loans and admitted in one of the best hospitals and on 28th July 2004 Judi was operated to remove the unwanted growth. The doctors operated her thrice the same day. They cut open her skull from her left ear to her right ear to remove the disease. Then they took flesh and skin from her thigh to close the first operation and then they cut the nose completely and took the lump called chondroma out. During that process they had taken out the bone and the flesh associated with the nose and left her without a nose. Her mother says 'the operation has left her looking ugly and a laugh stock for the crowd'.
She hasn't been taken for a plastic surgery yet, as the doctors say the cyst might grow again... After the major operation the parents took all the necessary tests to confirm the healing, things looked positive till last year. A doctor at the Government Hospital agreed to do the plastic surgery for Rs 10000 (for 3 operations in an interval of 3 months each) and conducted the 1st operation for Plastic Surgery on the 10th of November 2006. he took some flesh from her thigh and raised Judi's nose. Then he said he cannot fix a bone in her nose as they is nothing in the nose where the bone could rest because the nose was very shallow. The doctors said even if we fix there wont be any use. He took the money and sent them home.
So the parents took Judi to another hospital in April 2007. The doctor tried to diagonise using endoscopy. But the instrument did not go inside the nose. When they tried to give nasal drops the drops came out. Now the doctors suspect the cyst should have grown again. He has recommended MRI for the child. But the girl is crying that she is scared of all this and it is very painful after the operation held in November last year.
Please pray that the MRI results will be normal and the child be healed. Judi's weight has dropped to 19 kgs for a 10yr old girl. She is taking a lot of tablets more than her food. On one side the financial status of this family is not good to treat the child, whatever loans that they took for Judi is yet to be cleared and there is not improvement in her too.
Her mother says that now there is small mole growing in her right ear and also there is a swelling in her right chest. It is hard and is in the size of a lime.
Her mother says 'My daughter has been suffering from her birth, why has this happened to her? Sometimes I even feel why did I ever bear her! Because tablets and medicines has become her food and the hospitals has become a living place for her. Please pray for my daughter, she should not get this cyst and the growth again, her plastic surgery should be a success, she should be able to eat whatever she wants, the lump on her chest and ear should disappear... she should live a normal life.'
